Verizol

Quickstart

Get an API key and make your first request.

1. Get a key

Open the API keys page in your Verizol dashboard and create a key. It looks like vz_live_.... The full key is shown once, so copy it somewhere safe. You can have up to 5 active keys.

Your plan must include API access, and each successful call uses 1 API credit from your balance.

2. Make a call

curl https://api.verizol.ai/v1/companies/U72900KA2021PTC123456 \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer vz_live_YOUR_KEY"

Response (trimmed):

{
  "data": {
    "cin": "U72900KA2021PTC123456",
    "company_name": "EXAMPLE TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED",
    "registration_no": "123456",
    "status": "ACTIVE",
    "directors": [{ "din": "01234567", "name": "ASHA RAO" }]
  },
  "meta": { "request_id": "4f1c2a9be0d34c51a7e0c1d2b3a4f5e6", "credits_remaining": 299, "sandbox": false }
}

Look up a director the same way:

curl https://api.verizol.ai/v1/directors/01234567 \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer vz_live_YOUR_KEY"

3. Find a CIN or LLPIN by name

Don't have the identifier? Search by name first. Each match tells you which lookup to call next:

curl "https://api.verizol.ai/v1/search/companies?name=falcon&limit=5" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer vz_live_YOUR_KEY"
{
  "data": [
    { "value": "U74920TN2006PTC058852", "label": "FALCON (CHENNAI) SECURITY SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED", "type": "company" },
    { "value": "AAO-4164", "label": "FALCON ACCESS LLP", "type": "llp" }
  ],
  "meta": { "request_id": "4f1c2a9be0d34c51a7e0c1d2b3a4f5e6", "credits_remaining": 298, "sandbox": false }
}

Call GET /v1/companies/{value} for a company and GET /v1/llps/{value} for an llp. A search with a match costs 1 credit; one with no match returns data: [] and costs nothing.

4. Check the headers

Every response carries X-Request-Id. Responses to an authenticated key also carry RateLimit-Limit, RateLimit-Remaining and RateLimit-Reset; these are absent on 401 and 403, and during a brief outage of our rate-limit store only RateLimit-Limit is sent. Live keys also get X-Credits-Remaining on successful calls. Quote the request ID when you contact support.

No key yet?

Use the Try it panel in the reference. It is prefilled with the public sandbox key.
