Sandbox

The "Try it" panel in the API reference is prefilled with a public sandbox key (vz_test_...). It lets you see real response shapes without an account. The panel calls https://api.verizol.ai directly from your browser.

What the sandbox returnsCopy Anchor Link

• Every field, contacts masked. The response has the same fields as a live call. The plan-gated contact fields, contact.email and contact.phone, are returned masked, not omitted: an email keeps its first two characters and its domain (in*****@example.com) and a phone shows as +91 9XXXX XX10. They are null only when the registry has no value.
• No credits. Sandbox calls are not billed and meta.credits_remaining is null; meta.sandbox is true.

Every endpoint, including the searches and the LLP lookup, works with the sandbox key. LLP and search responses carry no contact fields, so nothing in them is masked.

• 10 calls per IP per day, shared across every endpoint.
• 2,000 calls per day across all sandbox users.

Going over returns 429 sandbox_limit_reached with Retry-After. If the rate limiter is temporarily unavailable the sandbox returns 503 rate_limiter_unavailable.

The sandbox key is public and may be rotated at any time. For real data, use a live key.
